"WALKING THE VIRTUAL LABYRINTH
A PATH TO THE PRESENCE OF GOD WITHIN"
Dear John & Doves,
Here is an Episcopal Church in Fullerton, California
that is selling a booklet called "Walking The Virtual Labyrinth A Path
to the Presence of God within" at http://www.emmanuelfullerton.org/fr_paul/Labyrinth.htm
The article says, "The labyrinth is the most powerful spiritual exercise
to learn how to access the Presence of God which is within all of us."
However, Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh to the Father, but by me." We have access to the Lord through
prayer, through reading the Bible daily, and through his Holy Spirit who
indwells the believer according to Romans 8:11. Page 2 at http://www.emmanuelfullerton.org/fr_paul/labyrinth_page_2.htm
says "the power is in the shuffle. "The spirtual power of the labyrinth
is not in the size of the walk, but in the walk itself." However,
Paul told us in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore no condemnation to them
which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Page 4 at http://www.emmanuelfullerton.org/fr_paul/labyrinth_page_4.htm
says, "As we walk a labyrinth daily, we will get a feel for being in the
Presence." You don't need to walk a labyrinth to access the Lord.
Page 5 says, "At the center of the labyrinth is the Presence that is in
all of us. It is called the "God Spot." http://www.emmanuelfullerton.org/fr_paul/labyrinth_page_5.htm
The only presence that is inside of the Christian is the Holy Spirit and
not something called a "God Spot."
I don't know why this Episcopal Church is promoting this
spiritual exercise using a labyrinth. It's just another sign of the
falling away from the faith in these latter days that Christians think
they need some powerful exercise to learn how to access the Presence of
God within us. However, in ancient Greece, the Minotaur lived inside the
labyrinth, and he had a man's body with the head of a bull. I was
just reading this link at http://www.minotaur-websites.com/minomyth.htm
and this is the first time I ever knew that the Minotaur was the result
of bestiality, but of course, Satan would be behind the sin of bestiality
just like he is behind promoting this spiritual exercise using a labyrinth.
Every time I find one of these articles I wonder what else I will discover
about apostasy and Christians falling away from the faith in the coming
days.
God bless,
Donna
