which prompts me to post this.

In the yearly calendar that I put together for myself which combines Jewish
feasts, Sabbaths, (and now the Gregorian calendar) I also added the events of
Noah's flood.

From that study I see that Noah and his family entered the Ark the 10th of Bul
(Cheshvan) which is this year around October 25th.  They then had to wait 7
days before the flooding began.  This year seven days later from Bul 10 is
around November 1 which is a Monday - the second day of the week.
