Just wanted to thank Chris for his two interesting, edifying, and informative posts.   Although I don't live in the U.S.A. I also have felt that this coming presidential election will be a determining factor in the war against terror, and have an important bearing on World events, in the lead up to Jesus's return.
 
Daily, we see events coming to pass, that give us glimpses of various biblical scenarios yet
to be fulfilled.
 
Although in Chris's timeline possibility, he focuses on 2006, I feel "in my bones" that 2005 will be a pivotal year that will propel us into directions from which there is no retreat.    I think the "die will be cast", so to speak, as far as sorting out the Middle East mayhem.  On a purely worldly level there seems to be only one answer to "force" and that is "greater force"....
