"REPLY TO GARRY B. -- There ARE NOT ALWAYS 1,260 Days From Nisan 10 To Tishri 1 (3&1/2 Yrs. Later)"

In your 11/07 post A LITTLE KNOWN FACT THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW (fivedoves.com) you stated, "It is a little-known IMPORTANT FACT  that there are ALWAYS  1,260 days from Nisan 10, of EVERY YEAR , to Tishri 1,  3 1/2 years later , and Tishri 1, is ALWAYS the Feast of Trumpets ."

You also stated the following:

From  Nisan 10, 2022   to    Tishri 1, 2025  which is the Feast of Trumpets that falls on Tuesday September 23, 2025

From Nisan 10, 2023    to    Tishri 1, 2026  which is the Feast of Trumpets that falls on Saturday Sabbath September 12, 2026

From Nisan 10, 2024    to    Tishri 1, 2027  which is the Feast of Trumpets that falls  on Saturday Sabbath October 2, 2027

Nisan 10, 2022 falls on                     Tuesday April 12, 2022

Nisan 10, 2023 falls on      Sabbath Saturday April  1, 2023

Nisan 10, 2024 falls on      Sabbath Saturday April 20, 2024

However, it is incorrect to believe that there are always 1260 days from Nisan 10 to Tishri 1, 3 & 1/2 years later with Tishri 1 being the 1st day of the Feast of Trumpets.

Nisan 10, 2022 falls on Mon. April 11 and not on April 12 as you indicated above.  Please see the Jewish calendar for the year 2022 at Jewish Calendar 2022 Diaspora | Hebcal and at the holidays at the bottom of the calendar at Year 2022 Calendar – Israel (timeanddate.com)  They both say Nisan 10 is on Mon. April 11.  There are 31 days in Jan. of 2022, 28 days in Feb., 31 days in March + 10 days in April (before Apr. 11) which total 100 days  & it leaves 265 days remaining in 2022 from Apr. 11 (Nisan 10) thru Dec. 31, 2022. The 265 days left in 2022 + 365 days in 2023 + 366 days in 2024 +265 days in 2025 = 1,260 days.  The 265th day of 2025 is Sept. 21, 2025 which is Elul 28 & Tishri 1 is on Sept. 23, 2025.  There is 1 additional day Elul 29 Eve of the Feast of Trumpets before Tishri 1, but not including Tishri on Sept. 23, 2025.  Therefore, there are 1,261 days from Nisan 10, April 11, 2022 thru Elul 29 on Sept. 22, 2025 which is the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets, but not including Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets. See calendar at Jewish Calendar 2025 Diaspora | Hebcal & the holidays at the bottom of calendar at https://www.hebcal.com/hebcal?year=2025&v=1&yt=G&nx=on&o=on&vis=on&d=on&c=off&maj=on&min=on&mod=on&mf=off&ss=off

Nisan 10, 2023 falls on 4/01/2023 as you stated.  There are 31 days in Jan., 28 days in Feb., & 31 days in March = 90 days + 275 remaining days in 2023 from April 1 (Nisan 10) to Dec. 31, 2023.  The 275 days left in 2023 + 366 days in 2024 + 365 days in 2025 + 254 days in 2026 = 1,260 days.  The 254th day of 2026 is Sept. 11 which is the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets so there are 1,260 days from 4/01/2023 (Nisan 10) thru 9/11/2026 which is the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets with the Feast of Trumpets falling on Tishri 1, 9/12/2026.

Nisan 10, 2024 falls on 4/18 and not on 4/20 (Nisan 12) as you stated above.  Please see the 2024 Jewish calendar at Jewish Calendar 2024 Diaspora | Hebcal & at the holidays listed at the bottom of the calendar at Year 2024 Calendar – Israel (timeanddate.com)  In 2024 (leap yr.) there are 31 days in Jan., 29 days in Feb., 31 days in March + 17 days in April (before April 18) which total 108 days + 258 days remaining in 2024.  From Nisan 10 on Apr. 18 thru 12/31/2024 are 258 days.  The 258 days left in 2024 + 365 days in 2025 + 365 days in 2026 + 272 days in 2027 = 1,260 days.  The 272nd day of 2027 is 9/29 which is Elul 27 with the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets on Elul 29 which is 10/01/2027 & Tishri 1, the Feast of the Trumpets on 10/02/2027.  So there are 1,262 days from Nisan 10 on April 18 thru the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets on 10/01, but not including Tishri 1, the day of the Feast of Trumpets. See calendar at Jewish Calendar 2027 Diaspora | Hebcal & at Year 2027 Calendar – Israel (timeanddate.com)

As for Nisan 10 in 2025 on April 8 which you have not discussed, there are 31 days in Jan., 28 days in Feb., 31 days in March + 7 days in Apr. before 4/08 = 97 days which leaves 268 days left in 2025 from Nisan 10 on Apr. 8 thru Dec. 31,2025.  The 268 days left in 2025 + 365 days in 2026 + 365 days in 2027 + 262 days in 2028 (leap yr.) = 1,260 days.  The 262nd day in 2028 is Sept. 18, 2028 which is Elul 27 according to the calendar at Jewish Calendar 2028 Diaspora | Hebcal  2 days later is the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets on 9/20, Elul 29, followed by Tishri 1, the 1st day of the Feast of Trumpets.  So there are 1,262 days from Nisan 10 on Apr. 8 in 2025 thru Elul 29, the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets on 9/20/2028.

As for Nisan 10 in 2026 on March 28 which you have not discussed, there are 31 days in Jan., + 28 days in Feb. + 27 days in March (before 3/28)= 86 days + 279 remaining days in 2026 from Nisan 10 on 3/28 thru 12/31/2026.  The 279 remaining days in 2026 + 365 days in 2027 + 366 days in leap yr. 2028 + 250 days in 2029 = 1,260 days.  The 250th day in 2028 is 9/07/2029 = 1,260 days.  9/07/2029 is Elul 27 & 2 days later is the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets on Elul 29 followed by the 1st day of the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, on 9/09/2029.  So there are 1,262 days from Nisan 10 on March 28 2026 thru Elul 29, the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets on 9/09/2029. See calendar at Jewish Calendar 2029 Diaspora | Hebcal

As you can see, there ARE NOT ALWAYS 1,260 days from Nisan 10 thru the Eve of the Feast of Trumpets, but not including the 1st day of the Feast of Trumpets on Tishri 1.  Of the 5 examples above, there are 1,261 days in the 1st example, 1,260 days in 2nd example & 1,262 days in the last 3 examples.
