"Let the Prophet Habakkuk Portray to You Much More of the End Time Scenario........Mid-December Timing??"

Doves,

Recently I wrote a post to the Doves site concerning “the banner” that may soon appear in the sky high above the mountains. This banner as per scripture will be “the face of Jesus” displayed for the whole world to see. In my post I referenced several areas of scripture that refer to this banner scenario and other events that will be taking place when we see Jesus’ face in the sky. Here’s that post for reference……

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2014/johnb112.htm

As per scripture many events (Ezekiel 38, sixth seal, etc.) appear to happen during the timeframe when Jesus’ face is displayed in the sky but I primarily focused on six of them that occur in many of the “banner” scriptures.

Here are the six I listed …….

First…….the banner (Jesus’ face) is displayed in the sky for the whole world to see

Second…..A voice as loud as a trumpet calls to “them”. I believe the ‘them” is the resurrection of the dead. The dead in Christ and also the whole house of Israel / Jacob arises from the dead

Third….a wave from Jesus pointing to the “gates of the nobles”. I believe this is the “first fruits” of this great resurrection…. the 144,000.… that Jesus takes to heaven to become His personal entourage to follow the Lamb wherever He goes as per Revelation 7 and 14

Forth….a command to His sanctified ones (His church)……. which I presume is the command for the dead in Christ and the alive in Christ to rise and meet Him in the clouds

Fifth……A call to His mighty ones to carry out His anger. Out of this great resurrection as per Ezekiel 37 God raises back to life….the whole house of Israel / Jacob……. His exceedingly great end times army from the whole house of Jacob and uses these resurrected spirit beings as His end times army……200 million of them….. with His own personal Spirit blown into them (as per Ezekiel 37:14)

Sixth……the great exploits and fear generated by God the Father’s resurrected army written in great detail found not only in the “banner verses” but also in many other areas of scripture.

When I wrote the banner post I just focused on individual scriptures that specifically had the word “banner” in the verbiage. Since that time I have found another area in scripture that also attests to and adds to what I wrote earlier concerning the events we will see after Jesus’ face is displayed in the sky for all to see.

The area of scripture of which I speak is generally found in the book of Habakkuk but more specifically in Habakkuk 3. I say generally because the prophet Habakkuk has an interchange with God in chapters 1 and 2.……. a question and answer interchange where the prophet asks God questions and God replies. Then in chapter 3 the prophet is given a glimpse or vision of the end times and the wrath of it all which made Habakkuk very afraid of what he saw and he pleaded with the Lord to……. remember mercy while administering the wrath.

It’s in Habakkuk 3 starting in verse 3 where we see similar verbiage as the other “banner” scriptures but also other new details also added that make for a clearer picture yet of these exciting (rapture) and horrific (wrath) end time happenings. Let’s now examine the text and see how it agrees with and adds to the other end time scriptures.

Habakkuk 3:3-19

3 God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise.

Habakkuk in his vision sees both God the Father and Jesus (The Holy One) come to earth. God the Father comes from a place called Teman. Jesus comes from a place called Mount Paran. He said Jesus’ glory (His face as a banner for all to see) covered the heavens. When the people of earth saw this a great number praised His name.

4 His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden.

God the Father has come to intervene for Israel and He is as the bible has described Him…..extreme brightness of light. He had powerful rays of extreme light power that emanated from His hand. He uses this power against Israel’s enemies that are amassed against her as per Ezekiel, Isaiah, Joel, Revelation, Zechariah and other areas of scripture.

5 Before Him went pestilence, And fever followed at His feet.

We are told in scripture that pestilence would be rampant at this timeframe and fever normally accompanies pestilence. Is that not what we are witnessing with Ebola and all the other new diseases that are popping up.

6 He stood and measured the earth; He looked and startled the nations. And the everlasting mountains were scattered, The perpetual hills bowed. His ways are everlasting.

This verse could be speaking about either God the Father or Jesus. One of them stood up and measured the earth and startled the nations. The “banner” verses indicate that Jesus’ face is displayed as a banner for all to see which I am sure startled the nations but also scripture tells us that the nations were all startled and extremely afraid when the face of God the Father (in its extreme light) was displayed to Israel’s enemies literally melting them. Consequently people from all social classes hid themselves in caves and reinforced buildings to escape looking at the face of God to prevent suffering the same fate. Several areas of scripture indicate that when God the Father and Jesus burst onto the world stage that a great worldwide earthquake happens and the mountains and hills will be greatly altered and moved from their places.

7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian trembled.

I believe this speaks to Middle East entities that come under the wrath of God the Father when He intervenes on behalf of Israel.

8 O Lord, were You displeased with the rivers, Was Your anger against the rivers, Was Your wrath against the sea, That You rode on Your horses, Your chariots of salvation?

Habakkuk in his vision appears to witness not only what God does to the enemies of Israel but also to earth’s environment and he questions God as to why He has taken His wrath out on the rivers and the sea. We know from Revelation 8 that God dispatched something into the sea that resembled a great burning mountain. A third of the sea became blood, killing a third of the living creatures in that sea and a third of the ships. Also God dispatched something that resembled a burning star (Wormwood) that when it fell to earth polluted one third of the rivers and fresh water.

9 Your bow was made quite ready; Oaths were sworn over Your arrows. Selah You divided the earth with rivers.

We learned in Ezekiel 37 that God resurrected the whole house of Jacob, hundreds of millions from the dead to use as His “exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37:10) and in Isaiah 13 that He “mustered” (summoned, assembled, inspects and instructs) this army for battle. And it would only seem logical that this army would swear an oath to fulfill God’s mission and wrath. It appears that God may use the rivers of the earth as boundaries areas when dispatching His troops.

10 The mountains saw You and trembled; The overflowing of the water passed by. The deep uttered its voice, And lifted its hands on high.

One could surmise from this verse that when the God of the universe passed over the mountains they trembled and when He passed over the seas huge waves were generated.

11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; At the light of Your arrows they went, At the shining of Your glittering spear.

In the old testament there was a time when God stopped the rotation of the earth (sun and moon stood still) so that Israel could defeat her enemies at that time. It appears that when God’s end time army rides He will again cause this to happen in concert with the progression of this army. (At the light of Your arrows they (sun and moon) went.

12 You marched through the land in indignation; You trampled the nations in anger.

As was stated in Isaiah…. God and His army moved through the land as a result or reaction to injustice, meanness and ingratitude (indignation) with righteous anger trampling nations as they went.

13 You went forth for the salvation of Your people, For salvation with Your Anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked, By laying bare from foundation to neck. Selah

God intervened for the salvation of His chosen people…..the Jews. And the salvation for the anointed….rapture? It appears that God does to the enemies of Israel exactly what they were going to do to the Jews, Christians and other religions who would not swear allegiance to Allah……He and His army behead them. (You struck the head from the house of the wicked, by laying bare from foundation to neck)

14 You thrust through with his own arrows The head of his villages. They came out like a whirlwind to scatter me; Their rejoicing was like feasting on the poor in secret.

It appears that the enemies own weapons were used against them and that the enemies of Israel will turn on their own leaders at some point.

15 You walked through the sea with Your horses, Through the heap of great waters.

We learn in Revelation 9 and Joel 2 that God’s army rides fire breathing horses that are able to leap over mountains and here we learn that the waters of the seas do not encumber these horse like creatures either. It appears that they are able to fly over mountains and oceans if necessary. Isaiah 11:14 says that they will “fly down” on Israel’ enemies.

16 When I heard, my body trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered my bones; And I trembled in myself, That I might rest in the day of trouble. When he comes up to the people, He will invade them with his troops.

Habakkuk indicates the extreme fear that will be generated by God and “His troops” when this scenario all goes down.

17 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls--

It appears that after these events happen that there will be world wide crop failure and no food for the animals. But the ones who understand what is really going on will not despair but still rejoice in their Lord.

18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.

Considering “present day” world events with all the bravado and threats being broadcast by Israel’ enemies, I believe that the forces of Islam could at any time decide to orchestrate a massive attack on Israel.

I do not believe due to our current Muslim administration here in the US that we would re-supply Israel or intervene for her. But as scripture states in many places……God the Father does. And if one is to factor in Deuteronomy 32:36 it appears that He waits until Israel is literally out of bullets before He does.

I have in my last several posts to Doves posted a date taken from Haggai 2:18 and 20 that appears to be a strong watch date for God the Father’s intervention on Israel’ behalf. This date is 24 Kislev on the Hebrew calendar and 16 December (this year) on the Gregorian calendar.

With what just happened in the US midterm elections and the Republicans assuming much more power come January……wouldn’t it make sense for the Muslims to attack Israel now (before January) while Obama (our Muslim president) still has the bully pulpit?

With things really starting to escalate (and they are) in the Middle East, the mid-December Haggai date is starting to look more valid every day.

Will Jesus come back for us the same day He initially came for us? Sound confusing?

What I mean by that is……Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit into Mary on the first day of Hanukkah….. which this year is 17 December. Basically that is the first day Jesus came to earth as a God man, on our behalf, to save us. Will He and God the Father come as per Haggai 2 on 24 Kislev on or around the 16 or 17 of December to complete the saving process?

So yes, He may come back to save us on the same day he came to save us!! Smile

Blessings…….John B

P.S. Remember to pack light for the trip……maybe just a sweater for the breezy ride up
