"A 2013 rapture?"

Dear friends:

A few days ago I forwarded to many of you an unusual video message link titled, "Official Announcement : The Rapture is in 2013."  It was by a Hispanic fellow named Rody Dominquez

"Official Announcement"?  What chutzpah!   The man is driven by deep conviction.

I do not know him but I was impressed with his message, his fervor, and his sincerity.  The link was at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QWhepc7P6g. I urge you to watch and pay attention to it.  It may be most important and profound videos ever.

The message was so radical I was not surprised that I got almost no response.  The silence was deafening.  One reason is that the message violated a usually misunderstood mantra of most prophecy writers -- that "no man knows the day or the hour."  But this fellow did not claim a day or hour, just the year -- 2013.  There is nothing unscriptural about that,  I felt his message was very credible and well stated.

One dear lady did respond saying that the Lord has been saying the exact same thing to her, that the rapture will be in 2013.

I failed to emphasize then but I want to emphasize now that the fellow did include some impressive confirmation, as follows:

1.  After the year 2013 was revealed to him, he asked the Lord for confirmation.  He said, "Lord, If 2013 is really the year of the rapture, please let me randomly open my Bible to some chapter 13."  There are about 30 places in the Bible with a chapter 13,  He then opened his Bible randomly and -- surprise -- he was at Mark 13:20!  It says, “And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days."

What are the odds?  But there is more.

2.  He decided that one confirmation was not enough and he wanted another.  He opened his Bible at random again.  It landed on Luke 13:25, which says, "When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from..."  Again, he landed on chapter 13.

Again, what are the odds?  But there is more.

3.  Notice: Both Scripture verses above relate to the end times and/or the rapture.

Again, what are the odds?  But there is more.

4.  Someone posted underneath the video that it just happened to be exactly 15:51 minutes long, and that the classic rapture verse in the Bible is 1 Corinthians 15:51.  Bet you missed that.  My own computer counted pnly15:50, one second off, but I won't quibble over one second., which may have been just an anomaly.

Again, what are the odds?  But there is more.

5.  Someone else noticed that Mark 13:20 is 2013 backwards.

Again, what are the odds?  And what are the compound odds for all the above?  I cannot calculate.

6.  For many reasons, Bible prophecy students all over the world are looking for a near-term rapture, possibly between now and April 2014.  A 2013 rapture is surely in that ballpark.

There is just too much here to be accidental or coincidence.  There is a rabbinic saying: "coincidence is not a kosher word."  I am hoping that this fellow did, indeed, hear from God.  If he did, time is about up.  We could be out of here in just days, or minutes, or seconds.  I am excited!

Come, Lord Jesus!
