Whether or not this has anything to do with the rapture, I do not know but it is extremely interesting.

Enoch by tradition was born and translated on Pentecost.  His name means dedication as in the feast of dedication or Hannukah.

Enoch’s gematria=84.  Hannukah is the 84th day of the jewish year from Tishri 1.

Jacob as a type of Christ married Leah and Rachel at age 84.

Pentecost marks the beginning of when the first fruits can be offered.  In the time of the temple Hannukah was the last day the first fruits could be offered.  Enoch could therefore be a type of the first fruits.

God is all about the firstfuits throughout the bible.  Abel offered the firstfuits –that is why his offering was accepted.

Notice this is verse 84 (Enoch,Hannukah,marriage)

Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

The firstfruits here are H1062 (the firstfruits of Pentecost are H1061-both H1061 and 1062 are derived form H1069)
