"Reply to Ron Reese (26 Nov 2011)  "When will Trumpets be fulfilled?"

Ron, I am trying really hard to keep up with what you are saying.  You said:  "I do believe that the Feast Days will be fulfilled in order, making Trumpets next."  Then how can you skip over the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets/Coronation Day/His Annointing and Crowning as The King of Kings to first go to Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement which is when you say He will finally "touch down" on the Mt. of Olives???  That's not in order of the Feasts at all!

And on your list of POSSIBLE fulfillments of Feast of Trumpets
Ron, do you really believe He will fulfill the Feast of Trumpets by His descending to hover over Petra without touching down; and then for "9 or 10 days" lead the Remnant to Jerusalem (what ?....like the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night?) (It's about 150 miles to Jerusalem from Petra as the crow flies!) only then to finally "touch down" on the Mt. of Olives?

You don't mention the Remnant's recognition of Jesus  - “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son." Zech. 12:10

You don't mention the fulfillment of a prophetic pronouncement made by Jesus Himself when He addressed the Sanhedrin before He was crucified:  "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." Matt. 23:39

It seems you think the Feast of Trumpets MAY be fulfilled by different types of "raptures" - but this is the King's Day!  Not a "rapture" day!  And anyway, the Rapture is not the all-important event!  The Second Coming is!  Even if there was never ever any rapture, God's Plan would not have to be "adjusted" at all!  God's Plan is a SET TIME with a SET AGENDA.....which the Rapture will play no role in whatsoever!

I totally don't understand your reasoning that "the fulfillment of Feast of Trumpets would be the perfect day, Sept. 14, 2015, for the Rapture of the two witnesses."  Yes, I believe too that "their 1260-day ministry ends before the end of the Great Tribulation," but how can you say the two witnesses may be raptured ON THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS as any kind of "fulfillment" of it?  The fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets is the annointing and crowning of the King of Kings and therefore the 1260 day ministry of the two witnesses would be long over!  So how could they be "raptured" on the day Jesus is crowned???

Lastly, you say The 2008--2015 timeline is DEFINITELY not thrown off, just because Jesus literally Returns to the earth, at the Mount of Olives, on Feast of Atonement, Sept. 23, 2015.  By that time, Jesus will have fulfilled Feast of Trumpets, one way or another.  What do you mean "one way or another?"  You are saying He returns on the Feast of Atonement, but somehow (one way or another) He will have fulfilled Feast of Trumpets BEFORE He returns???

I am please asking John Tng to post my challenge to what you wrote, asking you for clarification due to the importance of the ramifications of what you are proposing.  Because many people read your posts, I believe they deserve an explanation of why you now are speculating on "possibilities" that do not line up with the fulfillments of the Fall Feasts.

Until, Sherry Vance

May I add a clarification to a statement made in my previous post.  I stated:
God's Plan is a SET TIME with a SET AGENDA.....which the Rapture will play no role in whatsoever!

I meant that the Rapture will play no role in the actual events of the great tribulation neither before, nor after, it has begun.  If there were no rapture at all, it would change NOTHING of God's Plan of Redemption for the world.  Neither is the Rapture necessary to fulfill any aspect of Daniel's 70th Week or any great tribulation event so foretold in the Book of Revelation.

But the Rapture WILL play a role as being a SIGN to the rest of the world that the Church Ages have come to an end, that the Laodicean period is completed.

The Rapture is associated, of course, with the great tribulation because it precedes it.  But there is a dual purpose of the Rapture, one being to hide us away from the End Times Judgments; and the second as a SIGN unto the world that the Church Age has ended.  The physical sign will be seen in the affects of the aftermath of the Rapture.  The spiritual sign will be seen in those who understand what just happened. Perhaps they will finally BELIEVE that which they formerly doubted or rejected.  Or, perhaps they will choose to reject this SIGN simply because they loved not the Truth.  But there will still be people who are born again, who get saved, although the Church Age will have ended.....just as the Temple Age ended in 70AD.

Until....Sherry Vance~
