I'm doing a talk about DREAM PLANNING for a college class tomorrow.
 
And as I reviewed the PowerPoint I created for this ( a couple years ago), there is a slide that says:
 
YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ALL DAY LONG.
 
Hmmmmmmmm............
 
17 years ago......(before learning about End Times Bible Prophecy)..... my daily motivational "mantra" was:
 
"You can have anything you want....IF you want it bad enough."
(By the way....what I wanted was peace, joy and love in my life....That period of time, 1993-2004....God brought to me the most productive period of my life.  Lots of changes, but God was, and still is, with me all the way.)  There was ALOT I needed to accomplish in my career, financially, at the time.....still is, as far as that goes......
 
NOW.....17 years later........after 13 years of learning about, and watching for, the Soon Return of Jesus Christ....my daily focus and HOPE is in the Soon Return of Jesus Christ.
At age 57, I LONG for Heaven more than I strive for financial success in this life....
 
Hmmmm.....YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ALL DAY LONG.....  there is NO doubt that I am an End Times Believer.  More than ANYTHING in THIS LIFE..... I long for the Rapture and the Return of Jesus Christ......just like God tells us about in His Word, the Bible.
 
And as we know, Christ's first coming was RIGHT ON TIME....EXACTLY AS GOD FORETOLD TO ALL IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.  So too, will be His Return, proceeded by the Rapture......followed by the Tribulation to 1) bring the Jews to know their Messiah Jesus Christ and 2) to judge the nations of the world.
 
And ending with the Millenial Reign of Christ.....  
 
More than ANY measure of "success" yet in this life...... I LONG for all I have been taught to come to pass......starting next with the Rapture.
 
Every day, month and year that this has not come to pass.....makes my heart long even MORE for all of God's plans to begin, starting with the Rapture of the Church and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb Of God.....
 
I still.....CAN'T WAIT to see it all start.

PS..... I do hope that my FOCUS on the SOON RETURN starting with the Rapture is not wrong by another 2-5-or 10+ years or more.  All of the signs we are all seeing every month......every year.....every week..... just seem to reinforce my desire and my focus on these Last of the Last Days.
 
And now, with all this talk about Israel heating up in the news......  could the signs be any more imminent.....any more timely?????????  I hope not.....  I still, just want this WATING to be over.  (>From the Song SMILE by Chris Rice....this song has now been out for around 7-8 years.....)  Come Lord Jesus......
 
PPS.......some days I feel like Simeon in Luke 2......
 
Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. 27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
 29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
   you may now dismiss[d] your servant in peace.
30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,
 31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
   and the glory of your people Israel.”
 
How many years had Simeon been waiting to see the Messiah come???  As Simeon grew older, was this his DAILY prayer???  Are all of the Watchers in these End Days like Simeon??   I think we must be......  
 
In 1999.....I asked the Lord "Lord, we may not be able to know the YEAR of the Rapture, but can we know the TIME OF THE YEAR for the Rapture?"  Within 2 weeks, 2 different sources (Focus on the Family and Zola Levitt) BOTH taught me about the Jewish Feasts and the fullfillment by Jesus Christ of the Spring Feasts....and the anticipation that Jesus would fullfill the Fall Feasts on His Second coming.  I have always seen that teaching as direct answer to my prayer.  That is why I lean toward Rosh Hashanah for the Rapture......(and yet, could it be at the end of the Spring Feasts around Pentecost? In other words...God's timetable starts up again where it left off.)
 
Anyway.......  You are what you think about all day long.....  it is tough to really care about THIS world, when you are focused on the next, SOON.....BIG move by God, with the Rapture....and it is EXCITING to continue to see all the daily news from around the world REINFORCE this point of view......   !!
