"To Rob: Ref
Levites as the Rooster, waking people up for Temple
Service"
Wow Thanks Rob, the symbolism of
the Rooster to WAKE UP the people for the Temple Service is
awesome!
I love this! The rooster crowed for the disciples to
WAKE UP for temple service, which Jesus made the statement in John
2:19 how He would destroy this temple and in 3 days He would raise
it up....so I do see now from your post how this rooster was a
symbol of a Levite waking up the disciples for the new temple
service (Jesus resurrected temple). WOW!
I was merely making my "two cents" about the rooster as a
symbolism as "future" trumpet blast of the rapture and
resurrection of church age saints. I have a
tendency to view things from a perspective of foreshadowing in
literature. I know that there were Jewish traditions
tied to the time that Jesus was in that He celebrated as He
fulfilled the law. But also I see how these events
when He was on the Earth seem like He was "winking" at us in the
future who are the Bride telling us some kind of hints how these
feasts and traditions would replay themselves out in another way
for the rapture.
I am also seeing now how this rooster can be viewed as a watchman
telling people to WAKE UP, Jesus is coming, and you will be
transformed in a twinkling of an eye from corruptible to
incorruptible. Hmm, the symbolism is profound here to
me.
