I watched this movie Better Off Dead a while back ago because as you know the Lord wanted me to get rid of movies in my huge collection and throw them away that had a specific content in them.   Now I have a huge collection of movies, but to me they are just a collection and I watch movies maybe one movie a month.   I am more interested in watching for Jesus return and taking care of my family.  

As I was going through them I pulled out Better Off Dead and I remembered several of the songs in the movie that I totally love.   I am a big fan of 1980's English bands.   Now the movie is rated PG and has a couple of scenes that could be deleted but is not obscene.  I probably would not watch it again because my spirit is starting to get more sensitive to things and I am on high alert for Christ's return.   However I am not judging people what they do.   Please don't think that I am trying to be holier than anyone or that I am living in sin watching whatever.  

Anyways, the movie is about a high school guy Lane Meyers who is need of proving himself.   Long story short, he has to race the most popular and handsome guy in the town down a very difficult ski slope.   In the movie, Lane is totally afraid and he goes down the ski slope and one of his ski's break and he ends up going down on one leg.  

Well I had a dream from the Lord before my husband had his knee surgery and that he was skiing on one leg down the ski slope, but he was taking all the wrong turns on one leg.   Each turn was taking him into sin or on the wrong path that would lead him to hell.   And for me to finish the race to make it to the rapture, I had to jump in to the race and help him.  The Lord was very serious about this and maybe I do not fully understand it, that is not my business to know, but just to be obedient.   In my dream I had to run to get to my husband, pull him off the wrong path and then lay face down and he used my back as his skis so he could make it to his destination.  

In the dream I had to give myself to him, which meant in real life that when he had his surgery he was going to be helpless for a while.   That meant he needed total care including driving, cooking, going up and down the stairs whenever he needed anything, like a live in nurse for a while.   He had to get help going to his doctors appointments, physical therapy and he needed me to help him because he has an elderly mother as well.  Anyways in the dream I saw that once I jumped in and assisted him, it was smooth sailing down this ski slope and I saw the finish line.

The REALLY funny part of this movie was that there was a little kid who delivered newspapers to his house and they never paid him.   He was always showing up saying I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS.   And they would just make an excuse and not pay him.  I don't know why, but it was funny because when he went down the ski slope in the race this kid was on his bike on skis still screaming at him, I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS.

Well guess what my dentist mailed me this week after I have not been there in a year?   A bill for TWO DOLLARS!
