Your response to Fay's posting, "Madness in the Fast Lane" is interesting and quite insightful. It is obvious that you have given this type of bizarre behavior considerable thought. The first hand experience you mentioned is just further evidence of your knowledge and your sincere interest in helping others better understand such events. I agree with much of what you said, however, your characterization of Fay's words "The veil is thinning" as sounding "new age" warrants some discussion.
First of all, as Christians we can agree to disagree without being disagreeable--right? That being said, I think Fay's choice of words is especially descriptive of the times in which we are living. Thinning suggests to me that we are being allowed to get just a glimpse of a parallel or alternative world which will eventually be a part of our inheritance as Christians. For example, about two weeks ago, three physicists received the Nobel prize for their work which seems to prove that sub atomic particles can be accelerated faster than the speed of light which is 186,000 miles per second. This increase was something measured to be around 60 nano seconds, whatever that means. This suggests that the cosmic speed limit Einstein discovered may not be a constant! As Christians, I believe we will clearly understand these things once the veil is totally lifted and we are made whole.
It seems to me that the idea of many parallel/unseen realities are about to be made more clear in the not to distant future. Scientists keep climbing this mysterious mountain only to be greeted by the great theologians who were already at the top. As Christians we should be surprised that the Creator has much to share which He has held back until these "end times". Everyday another piece of the prophetic puzzle seems to fall into place just as God's word said it would. Yes, "the veil is thinning" just a little bit. Isn't is great to be a Christian during these historic times?
