"Disclaimer:  "I think I hear something, but perhaps it is just the wind.""

Hello, John and Doves,

Disclaimer:  "I think I hear something, but perhaps it is just the wind."

That's a joke, since the Hebrew word for "spirit, breath, wind" is "ruach."  This also the first word in the Hebrew phrase for Holy Spirit, "Ruach HaKodesh," where "Kodesh" means "Holy."

Here goes...

In trying to decipher "11, 11, 11," one may end up with three different answers, all within a few days of each other.

First of all, November 1st, until twilight, is 4 Cheshvan, 5772.  It is also "Yerushalmi yomi:  Rosh Hashanah 11."

Secondly, November 8th, until twilight is 11 Cheshvan, 5772.

Third and last of all is Veteran's Day, 11/11/11.  There may be others of which I am unaware.

Wouldn't it be wonderful, if--on a day when we celebrate those who did not love their lives unto death--there was a resurrection of everyone with a cross on his or her gravestone?  Talk about victory! Then, of course, there would be the resurrection of those Christians in Veterans Hospitals across the nation.  And all the rest of us waiting....
