Dear Doves

I felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit to share this very important piece of scripture. Over the years I have seen quite a few names depart from the Five Doves site, perhaps because of this very reason and or because their doctrine may have become tainted. The word that comes to mind is that the second coming of our Lord Jesus has become tedious to many, and therefore people have become weary and lost endurance. In a sinful and tainted world the gospel has become but a flickering flame, because many have grown tired even in their faith and others only want to hear a compromising word (2Pet. 2)!

With regard to the Word of God, we are to ENDURE.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. (Jas 5:7-11)

So let us all pray that we would be counted worthy to escape the things that are going to come upon the earth and till that time let us endure.
