Reminded me of the old(er) man at the Temple....who was waiting to see the Messiah before he died......because God had told him he would.
 
How many years had he waited.......and wondered.....and waited.....
 
Just like this woman.....
 
Just like all of us who are watching.....
 
And what about the 400 years of the "intertestamentary period" between the Old Testament and the New Testament period.....when God did not move or interact with the people of that day??
 
Or the 2000 years between the destruction of the Temple in 70ad, and the return of the Jews to the land given them by God in 1948?
 
In our lifetimes...think about that....IN OUR LIFETIMES....we have seen a few HUGE Prophetic fullfillments......showing us UNDENIABLY....that WE...MUST be THE LAST generation living, before the return of Christ...and the Rapture that proceeds it!!
 
1) 1948......"Can a nation be born in a day?"  Israel !!!!!!!!!!
and
2) 1967......The recapture of Jerusalem......and the end of the Gentile ownership of the city......(but NOT the Temple Mount....as the Jews gave that back......like giving up Gaza, both were bad choices!)
 
3) ???  9/11/2001......and the beginning of the great conflict between the Jews/Christians....and the Muslims.
 
What a time it is to be a Christian.....and to be watching the signs that Jesus told His disciples about just before He returned....
