In Luke 3:23 it says “And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,...” now I know ‘about thirty’ would be 30 +/- 1-2 months but it is the ‘began’ that is confusing me. In my interlinear bible it says “was beginning to be...” which is still confusing.  I have some idea about birth and events in the beginning but this phrase a bit confusing to me. Is this saying before 30, right at 30, or after 30. I would help in trying to narrow the baptism time frame to a hopefully 2 month window.
