Hello,
John and Doves,
The
LORD is allowing things to happen as they naturally will, in order to
make
abundantly plain that democracy cannot solve all the
problems it encounters.
Democracy cannot even solve the problem of spiritual
wickedness in high places
to
save its soul.
But
remember,
"The Lord is not slack
concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,
not willing that any should perish but that all
should come to repentance." 2 Peter
3:9
The
world is looking to 2012 for some kind of happy New Age to
begin.
Instead, we read in Psalm 112:
5
A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with
discretion.
6
Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting
remembrance.
7
He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the
LORD.
8
His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon
his enemies.
9
He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures
forever;
His horn will be exalted with honor.
|
10 The wicked will see it and be grieved; He
will gnash his teeth and melt away;
The
desire of the wicked shall perish. Psalm 112:5-10
Hang in
there. God is not finished with His plans yet.
And
remember, too, God has no plan B. For it is
written:
"So shall
My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me
void,
But it
shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent
it." |
Isaiah 55:11
This is how our Lord could
say, "Tetelestai." It is finished, just as requested--no
caveats,
no
excuses. |
In HaShem,
Mike C.
