Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

This is the letter to the pastor of the church of Sardis. Is this telling him and the church that only a few members of the Sardis church are saved?

That the rest of the church members are going to hell????

So, what does this mean to us today?

I would think that only people that are full committed followers of Jesus are saved according to these verses and

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
