"Hell is a great place to party with my friends"

The world tells us that hell is a great place and it's going to be one big block party. Because of this, the sinner dreams of going there and hanging out with all their friends. They just picture it as the next step of evolution of what THEY want to do. If that were only true, it would be great for them.

Let's take a look at one example of Hell from the Bible.

Luke 16:19-31 - The Rich Man and Lazarus

19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

Question: If hell is such a great place, why didn't this man want his five brothers to join him there? Don't you think he would have wanted to hang out with them? Instead, he tried to keep his family from suffering the same fate. Satan is a liar. You won't be partying with your friends and family. You will spend eternity regretting you didn't do everything possible to prevent them from going there. If you have friends or family already there, THEY are hoping you will choose God. Satan is the father of lies. He will do and say anything to get his way and prevent us from choosing God over him. Satan can't make any promises about hell, he'll be a prisoner too. God gives us the opportunity to choose Him or not. He doesn't send us to hell, we choose to go there when we reject Him. Can you imagine after you die and realize you've made the biggest mistake of your life and it's too late to do anything about it? Imagine the depression, the panic, the regret. The very worst thing you've ever experienced in this life is nothing compared to just one day in hell. And hell is not just one day, it is forever. There is no parole, no early release, no repeal, no second chance. You will burn forever in fire.

Your salvation is nothing to mess around with. There is very little time left to choose God.

Jesus, God's son, came to earth as a man, died on the cross for your sin and came back to life on the third day. He is in Heaven now asking you to accept His gift to you. Believe in Him, confess your sins, turn from your sins and you will be saved and spend eternity in Heaven with him. If you don't choose Him, you automatically reject Him and accept the consequences. Jesus is coming extremely soon to take His devoted followers to be with him. Don't be left behind.

P.S.

Don't get me wrong.  I'm not implying anyone on Five Doves is in a condition of non-repentance.
I wrote the
"Hell is a great place to party with my friends” with a particular person in mind and then felt other people may be able to use it for that same purpose, so I forwarded it on.
I hope and pray someone may be reached via this method.

I've been reading the Five Doves letters for a couple months with great anticipation of Christ's soon return for his followers.
Thank you all for your great insight and for helping a lukewarm Christian get back in the game.
I've spend quite a bit of time posting stories and links on Facebook and I'm sure people are tired of it, but I'm striving to wake as many people up as possibly in the short time we have left.  Like I've told others, I'd rather have egg on my face than blood on my hands.
