When the Temples were in use in Jerusalem, Hanukkah day 1 was the absolute last day that olives could be harvested in Israel and also brought to the Temple for sacrifice. Now, with no Temple in Jerusalem, these rules no longer apply. The olive harvest can proceed past Hanukkah day 1 on 12-1 or 2 until the harvest is complete. The olive harvest may remind us of Paul's Epistle to the Romans, chapter 11, about how the Gentiles have been grafted in to the spiritually symbolic olive tree of Israel. Part of The Blessed Hope will be bringing in the fullness of the Gentiles come to faith in Messiah/Christ over nearly 20 centuries of grace and mercy abounding for so many blessed so abundantly.
After The Blessed Hope, the spiritual focus and outreach begins to shift and transition to the 3 great criteria or components of The Sheep and Goats Judgment, which occurs after The Master's Second Coming. They are about how the Nations treat the following: the land of Israel, the House of Israel of the 12 tribes, and Jerusalem. The current dispensation of The Age of Grace seems to be in the last golden days. The Blessed Hope will be spiritual sea change in many ways. The outpouring of outreach to the House of Israel will be momentous. If the revised timeline of Daniel Matson proves correct, The Blessed Hope will link days in Hanukkah in 2010 with days of Hanukkah in 2017.
As of 11-3, Israel was about half way through the olive harvest. It is the culmination harvest, the last of 7 of the crops or species of the land of Israel mentioned in The Scriptures. Will the olive harvest be complete by 12-1 or 12-7? It would seem that by the concluding days of Hanukkah that the harvest will be complete. May we be daily WATCHING for The Bridegroom to be The Light of the World on The Day so fervently and long awaited by so many!
With Love and Shalom,
