BTW, great work Hal, and thanks !!!

This may be one of the most significant finds on end time prophecy that I
have seen to date. This completes a final piece of the puzzle that I
have had in my own quest for answers, as to the return of our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ.

When you truly accept that Immanuel, in this context, is the newborn State
of Israel, and that WITHIN 65 years...

God says that the threat to Jerusalem from Ephraim (modern West Bank) and
Aram (modern Syria) will come to naught.”

...that means that this could also be the fulfillment of other prophecies,
such as Isaiah 13, 17, Jeremiah 50-51, Ezekiel 38-39, and several
verses in Joel, Revelation, etc., that talk about the day of the
Lord, or day of wrath. I have contended, along with some others, that
the the day of the Lord is actually equivalent to ONE YEAR as per the
day = a year principal.

To re-enforce the thought that WITHIN 65 years this prophecy concludes
with 1 year, I would point your attention to the continuation in
chapter 8, where the Lord elaborates on how long it would take...

Isa 8:4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry,
My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil
of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.

The child usually takes about a year or so to cry daddy, or mama..etc.
That's pretty clear to me.

To summarize then, we have the following:

From: 5/14/1948

Plus 65 years (actually 65 x 360 / 365.2415 = 64.07)

To: 6/9/2012

The day of the Lord would start approximately 1 year earlier in the
spring of 2011. That's not that far away.

I would say we could be out any time between now and then, but
certainly not any later then that. What do you think ?
