"About half an hour". Immediately after the rapture occurs during the 'Sixth Seal' when the sky rolls up like a scroll to form an open door that no one can shut on the 'Day of Christ', the Seventh Seal is opened:

Revelation 8:1 (Seventh Seal)
"When he opened the Seventh Seal there was silence in Heaven for ABOUT HALF AN HOUR."
Revelation 8:5
"Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the alter, and hurled it on the earth"

Just as it was in the 'day of Noah' and the 'day of Lot' the Church will be delivered (raptured) earlier on the same day, the 'Day of Christ', in which God's judgement/wrath befalls the left-behind:

Revelation 6:15 (Sixth Seal)
"Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb! for THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH HAS COME , and who can stand?"

Luke 17:27
"...THE DAY Noah entered the arc then the flood came and destroyed them all."
Luke 17:29
"But THE DAY Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from Heaven and destroyed them all."
Luke 17:30
"It will be just like this on THE DAY the Son of Man is revealed."
