"Can You Feel it in the Air?  We must be in the Rapture Season!"

The word “Season” is found 55 times in the Bible per “Bible Plus”

John – Great Post Saturday!  Can’t say enough.

http://www.fivedoves.com/rapture/2008/rapture2008_234.html

As I originally wrote this, I had anticipated posting for Monday.  Guess we all are busy.  But I had anticipated greatly John’s follow-up post as to how 234 brings us to a Rapture date in 2008.  From Bob Ware’s post Monday I gathered that John’s date is either December 22nd or December 24th that would have been posted.  Wow – either date has events such as Louis Romo posted Monday as subtracting 234 hours from the end of 2008 which I get 6:00 AM on December 22nd.  As far as December 24th, that is Christmas Eve, a “Christian” holiday, which has also been considered.  Of course, George W. is credited with saving the Revolution Christmas Eve in 1776 when he crossed the Delaware .  But then that was 232 years ago not 234 years.

I personally like December 23rd from a straight numbers perspective:

We have October 29, 2008 + 55 = December 23, 2008

And November 4, 2008 + 49 (counting seven sevens) = December 23, 2008

But let’s not forget that December 21, 2008 at sundown is the start of Hanukkah, the winter solstice and 4 years exactly to December 21, 2012.

The one thing to me is there is no clear cut Rapture Watch date that most everyone seems to be focused on from now until the end of the year.  And that may be just the point.  If we hadn’t been watching for the Rapture we would we have missed seeing the appearance of the Evil One, the son of perdition, and the Strong Delusion.  So many things we would have missed.  But still, many of us can feel it in the air.  It’s not just the “Christmas season”, it sure feels like the Rapture season.

I wanted to note that I haven’t given up on watching the American Thanksgiving yet either.  Looks like I’m in good company with Diane Walker and Tex Armstrong:

I even had been forwarded an email Sunday, along with other Doves where Calvin Montgomery had counted 234 weeks from Reagan’s death on Saturday, 6/5/2004.  (If the week count includes Saturday, 6/5/2004, then 234 weeks would end on Friday, 11/28/2009, the day after the official observance of Thanksgiving in the United States of America .)

Thanksgiving, of course, is associated with giving thanks to God.  As a side note, from Wikipedia.org regarding Thanksgiving and the Pilgrim’s, “The group’s charter REQUIRED (emphasis mine) that the day of arrival be observed yearly as a “day of thanksgiving” to God”.

John’s post led me in a different direction than Calvin and concluded with looking at the Oslo Accord which was signed on 9/13/1993.  Adding 5555 days to this lands us on Friday, 11/28/2008.  In other words, Thanksgiving Day, 2008, 11/27/2008, would be the 5555th day, inclusive.  And Thanksgiving day is also a new moon!

One note of interest is the first Thanksgiving that was called “Thanksgiving” by the Pilgrims was in 1624 but it was actually a day of fasting and prayer.

http://www.socialstudiesforkids.com/articles/holidays/thefirstthanksgiving.htm

And exactly 150 years later the first public proclamation of Thanksgiving Day by an independent legislature of the Revolution was made:

http://64.233.169.132/search?q=cache:WXx_epVmw3AJ:www.harvardsquarelibrary.org/thanksgiving1774/thanksgiving1774_p4.html+1774+thanksgiving+independent&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2&gl=us&client=firefox-a

But the significant note had already been struck. The Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1774, on the threshold of free government in America , was a call for gratitude with the same lasting power as when 150 years before their forefathers began their life in the New World with an act of Thanksgiving.

And 1774 + 234 = 2008.

Okay – Can’t discount the new “moonth” on December 1st as the Jupiter and Saturn alignment as brought out by “Crin”

Taking 9/16/1993 which is when the Oslo accord was “confirmed”/ratified by Israel after being signed three days earlier, and adding 5555 days brings one to December 1st, 2008.  And adding, 4 prophetic years to December 1st, 2008 of 360 days apiece brings one to the

We shall soon see.
