"Genesis 49 and the Lord's return"

Brother John:

Thank you for this wonderful site!  May I share a few discoveries made possible by you and others like Richard, Bonnie, etc.?

I started studying number patterns in scripture in the late 1990's.  In 1999 I became attached to the # 101 to the point of obsession.  I hope I now have a modicum of self restraint (lol)!  I also found some neat “coincidences” when you add the ordinal and standard values in English gematria.  I’ll call these o.v., s.v., and c.v. for short.

To whet the appetite:

“I am the Resurrection and the Life.”  C.v. = 1888

“I am the First and the Last.”  C.v. = 1499 = Hebrew gematria of “the heavens and the earth”of Gen 1:1

“Lord Jesus Christ” c.v. = 1309 = Greek gematria of “the way and the truth and the life” and others

“Emmanuel” c.v. = 555

Michael in Hebrew s.v. = 101

Melchizedek ( order of priesthood)  o.v. = 101

Zebulun (where Jesus lived) o.v. = 101

lamb c.v. = 101

Jesus, the Good Shepherd became lamb # 101 (100 in the fold)

Isaiah 22:22 (22*101) contains the “key of David”

Notice in the matrix above that the 2 names completely enclosed sum 1499.

The 12 tribes can be arranged in 30 degree increments on a circle for some interesting observations.  A circle with diameter of 8 has an area of 50.26....The last verse in Genesis is 50:26.   I do my geometry on geo.sketchpad and I don’t know how to import those files.  Maybe someone can play around with this.

Your brother in Jesus,

 Steve B
