Dear Patty,

We are praying that God will bind the persecution in Russia as your note revealed. We do believe that yes many doors to the Gospel are closing in the Far East. We know that China --and now Iran-- are filtering out "certain" websites, so we must all "redeem the time" for satan knows that his time is short ,and he is increasing his attacks against Bible believers more than ever before.

As for ourselves, Jim works during the week and what time is left over we are always in hospitals and rest homes visiting our friends. There seems to be a steady stream of surgeries etc. but that is expected with our age group
( 70's and 60's ). And while they are in the hospital, we are taking care of pets, plants, and mail etc. We are rarely at the computer any more.

We keep tabs on the Mark of the Beast that is coming. It is our own personal opinion that Real ID will be the computerized ID card like the one that is now Required by the Israeli government for all of its citizens. That story on the internet was that they were requiring it in the hand, however because of language confusion ( Hebrew to English) it was further stated that the Requirement is for a computerized ID card to be on the person and ready to be shown upon request. All indications are that 2009 is THE year for all the pieces of the puzzle to come together, and so we do anticipate by mid-year 2009, a computerized ID card will be required for American citizens. It could be sooner, or later, but that is the time-frame that we are watching.

As for the 666 Mark in the hand, we feel it will not be Required at the start, but as an option at first. But progressively it will become Required. When that will be, we do not know.

Since the media controls the news so tightly, one never knows from one week to the next what is coming out of left field. They seem to use the element of surprise as a way of captivating the people. And of course we all know that
a "crisis" of some kind will bring about the implementation of the Mark of the Beast. We used to think the economic crisis would bring it about, but since it is being played out in front of eyes even now without the 666 Mark, then perhaps a world war will scare people into doing anything the government asks. At any rate, the New World Order is marching at a brisk pace.

So glad to hear from you Patty. We know that Texas had it's large share of storms this year. Hope you were safe through them all. Although we don't post as often as before, we do check in with the Doves daily and pray for all prayer requests. If anything BIG happens concerning the 666 Mark, we will post it, Lord willing.
