My husband Jim also has sciatic pain and takes 2 Aleve tablets that work for him. They last for 12 hours and then it is recommended to only take one per 12 hours after that. But for each episode he starts with 2 tablets.

Also he takes 2 tablets of Calcium per day .. 600 mg in the morning and 600 mg in the evening. Calcium is one of nature's pain relievers, when built up in the system. Calcium also helps with bone deficiency, which causes sciatica.

Jim is mostly free from sciatica now.
