Interesting that the Bush vs. Gore decision was 7 years to the day from when the next peace meeting is scheduled on December 12th which I believe is also the 8th day of Hanukkah.  Also, yesterday Gore & Bush were together in the White House in an awkward meeting regarding Gore’s Nobel Peace Prize.
 
Abbas quoted John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln which we have talked about prior to today’s meeting & announcement.  Also, that Jerusalem would be part of the Palestinian solution.

Also, Olmert talked about how radical religion was a large source of the problem.
