The winner was May & Flower – both significant names.  The Mayflower of course was the ship that was used by Pilgrims in their trip to the “ New World ”.

I also have recently written that we have just passed (November 11^th) 387 years from when the Mayflower compact was signed which is the supporting document for the United States Constitution. 

387 is an ominous number and may be a marker for the anti-christ.  As many have been watching along with myself the deterioration of the United States, our move as a country away from the founding fathers, constitution and most of all “One Nation under God”.

The Mayflower Compact said:  “In the name of God… Having undertaken for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith… in the presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves into a civil body politic.”

Since in recent years, it is no longer our national commitment to "bring glory to God and to advance the Christian faith," maybe the Lord is removing His hand of purpose and protection from America.

However, in spite of the evil, we should never forget that hundreds of thousands of committed Christians in thousands of churches and missions organizations are still laboring under the original vision.  God will not pull down the curtain until His work with them is finished.  And that may be soon.
