"Simple Nebraska Guy"

As we are waiting, watching & waiting some more for Jesus’ return I am continuing in my job which takes me out in the country a bit here in Nebraska.  My father who has worked with farmers for some time knows quite a bit about them.

I often enjoy hearing him give me some new insight on what is going on in “farmland”.  As we were driving he was commenting on how many fields are still not harvested.  Soy beans usually are harvested first since they are most subject to ruin in case of weather.  Corn and wheat, which are the other two primary crops here are heartier and can wait longer.

Actually it was Iowa where we were driving today and he was telling me that since there was a record rainfall this year it is taking longer for the crops to dry out before some of the farmers will harvest.

Relating all of this harvesting to the Biblical Rapture harvesting of endtimes it may seem that we are all drying out before that last harvesting that Jesus plans for us.

Even so, Lord Jesus come…

Blessings,

Tony
