"Peace Conference Threatens Israeli State"

As you read this letter, America's war on terror is being compromised and
Israel's future is being threatened by a meeting that was convened by an
American government on American soil. The ironies are chilling: unrepentant
terrorists invited to a "peace conference," where the only democracy in the
Middle East had to defend its right to exist.

What can Condoleeza Rice be thinking? The war against the terrorists in Iraq
is at a critical turning point. An American Secretary of State should not have
been in Annapolis putting our most faithful ally on the defensive, but in
Baghdad brokering a reconciliation between Iraqi factions and locking down a
victory for which nearly 4,000 Americans have given their lives. Iraq is the
central front in the holy war against the West being waged by al-Qaeda and the
Islamic Republic of Iran, and an American defeat in Iraq would lead to an
escalation of that war to proportions that would make the current conflict in
Iraq seem tame by comparison.

Instead, Secretary of State Rice has been out-Clintoning Bill Clinton by
shuttling between capitals in the Middle East in an attempt to cut a piece of
flesh from a frontline state in the war on terror. Once again, in a replay of
what happened eight years ago, the U.S. hopes against hope that bribery and
concessions will turn them Palestinian wolves into doves and that diplomacy
will make them agree to live side by side with a state, Israel, they believe
is inhabited by pigs and monkeys.

The Palestinians do not want to live alongside a Jewish state; they want to
destroy it. Any "diplomacy" that does not proceed from this assumption is part
of the problem rather than part of the solution. The majority of Palestinians
have voted for a party, Hamas, whose chief goal- the "obliteration" of
Israelis declared in its charter. They have been fighting a sixty-year war
against the Jews - men, women and children in which concessions like the ones
Bush and Rice are trying to force on Israel only lead to further slaughter and
new demands.

The ambush Bush and Rice prepared for Israel in Annapolis will fail because
the Palestinians are committed to terrorism and regard negotiation as violence
by other means. Seventy percent of Palestinians support suicide bombing and
seventy percent support Hamas. The other thirty support the Islamo-fascists of
Fatah and their terrorist armies: the al Aqsa Martyrs Bridge, the Popular
Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Palestine Islamic Jihad.

It's indicative of the bad faith of the architects of Annapolis that they have
persuaded Syria, the murderer of Christian and democratic Lebanon and refuge
for Saddam's bloodthirsty lieutenants, to come to the table and parley for a
return of the Golan Heights so that they can begin shelling Israeli farmers
again.

The Palestinians are not the cause of the Islamic crusade against the West;
they are an integral part of it. Giving them a piece of Israel in East
Jerusalem will not satisfy their hunger for conquest. It will only whet their
appetite for more.

The Munich Conference in 1938 led to a war in which 70 million lives were lost
and the world was introduced to the term "genocide." The Munich in Annapolis
will be a step towards the new genocide being planned by Iran's Ahmadinejad,
Hamas' al-Zahar, Syria's Assad, and all the other Islamofascists in the Arab
world whose deepest dream is an Islamic Reich which is Judenrein "from the
river to the sea."
