"To David Zavitz and All on Our Own Self Deception"

Thank you David Zavitz for the wonderful post on self deception here

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2007/dwz1128.htm

"Self-deception is the process or fact of misleading ourselves to
accept as true or valid what is false or invalid. Self-deception, in
short, is a way we justify false beliefs to ourselves.

Maybe more humility would help ... since God gives grace to the humble
but resists the proud?

Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now
ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. John 9:41

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is
not in us. 1 John 1:8"

It's totally clear that when we are searching for someone else's sins to

gossip about that we are on the wrong track and need to look inward

with submission to the Holy Spirit for our own conviction and repentance.

There isn't a single one of us above another in any way and we are all

His by His grace and not our own grace or works.

Rom.14
[4] Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
I Corinithians 10

12] Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

When we remember that "pride comes before a fall", we will humble ourselves

before the Lord God.

Blessings to All . Am expecting we will all meet together and that very soon. It

is God's grace that we are living in this very time and that in itself is very

humbling to be given this blessing to us all.
