Has Your Brook Dried Up

Has God ever given you a word that says, I am going to use you. You are going to preach and minister, and I'm going to put finances into your hand?

Yes! But the next thing you know ... your brook has dried up. What do you have? Things got worse instead of better. Everything went contrary to what God said.

What kind of God is this? He sends the prophet to a place of security and provision; then He lets it all dry up.

God does that, you know. He brings us to places, jobs, situations, people, even to businesses for seasons in our lives. Then suddenly we find that we must do battle. In the midst of believing God to do all the things He has promised to do, it seems as if our brook dries up.

Did it ever occur to you that God knows something we don't know? He knows that if He doesn't dry it up, we will stay there and worship at the brook. He knows that if He doesn't dry up the brook, we will never move forward to the next place He has prepared for us.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
"Lord, forgive me for complaining when my brooks have dried up. Teach me to walk in expectant faith, and to hear Your voice speaking even through my circumstances
