Just wanted you to know I am one of the Doves praying for your horse. I believe Jesus is interested in everything that we care about. He said, "not one sparrow falls to the ground without (the presence of) YOUR heavenly Father." As our Father, God cares about both wild unowned animals as well as the pets He has entrusted to us. I believe our Father will heal Miss Kitty completely with no lasting effects.
 
On the practical side: Neosporin will draw out infection. Also find some good Tea Tree Oil preferably one labeled Melaleuca Oil, if you can. Dilute it a little with olive oil and pour onto the hoof and frog of the foot. This will also draw out infection but is antibiotic as well. Most horse linament has Tea Tree Oil in it. The oil will take out heat and swelling.
