Denis, thank you so much for your posting about the Australian Light Horse!   Years ago,
I watched a movie entitled "The Lighthorsemen" which chronicled their charge on
Beersheva.  What a great movie.  Being a horse lover, I could watch it over and over.
 
Those troopers were wonderful, as well.  When I was in Jerusalem in 2003, I went to
David's Tower, where General Allenby read his proclamation of the liberated Jerusalem
on December 11, 1917.
 
I also was blessed to be able to ride horses on a kibbutz near Hadera.  I will never forget
it.  I was so happy I sang to my beautiful Arabian horse, Jasmine.
 
Thank you again for your post, which made my heart rejoice.  I look forward to meeting
you in glory, in the presence of our beloved Jesus.  May it be soon!
