""Chu Thomas's version of heaven""

Diane,

Thank you for the list you presented. You have identified some valid reasons which should cause the Saints to question what type of spirit she is in contact with. This is precisely why it is soooo important for us to test the spirits (1 Jn. 4:1) when they appear to us. Satan is quite able to appear under the guise of an angel of light (2. Cor. 2:14).

It is therefore no great thing for his servants also to disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be in accordance with their actions" (V15, WNT).

When I viewed the video of Chu on the web a while back, one of the warning flags for me was the statement about being forced to sway back and forth as she spoke about her vision - otherwise her stomach would feel like it was going to burst. I am not aware that such sensations have ever been associated with the work of the Holy Spirit or any other spirit sent by God.

One of the last points you mentioned referred to the service being interrupted. Kind'a reminds me of some of the problems associated with the laughing or cackling revivals of the last decade. Even though these spirits have the ability to provide wonderful sensations, that we think are spiritual, confusion will always be the end result when a spirit other than that of Christ is present.

May His grace continue to be a covering you,

Sentinel
