"TO Sonchild - "To Peggy in Answer re: tatoos, appearances,& religious spirits""

Thank you, brother, for your kind words of encouragement, and may He bless you too!

I agree… Richard and I enjoy worshipping with Him on a daily basis.  This reminds me of a dream/waking-up vision he had sometime last year.  As he was waking, he heard the Lord’s voice say to him, “Come out from among her, Richard; I mean organized religion as a whole.”  And that was it.  By then, he was fully awake.  The Lord speaks to him like that a lot of times… he will wake up finishing prayers that he began in a dream, or talking to the Lord, or the Lord talking to him, or like the time he woke up speaking in Hebrew (which he doesn’t know at all in his waking hours!).  Interesting!  Yet for some reason, He led us to the congregation I was telling you about?  We went to services for about 6 weeks before this happened, I’m guessing.  Jeff (the Associate Pastor) even called a couple of weeks later and apologized and talked a bit with Richard, and we forgave him, but it would never again be the same… the damage had been done, the hurt inflicted.  Richard did tell Jeff about how much it hurt him, and how Jeff needed to be very careful, because he could never know if the person was unsaved or not, and that the attitude he had could possibly run a non-believer away from the church.  Hopefully Jeff will take that to heart; I hope so, anyway.

It’s also odd, but I honestly believe we met an angel while we were going there.  On about our 3rd visit to the Congregation, and Hispanic man of around 30 years of age came to the service and sat right behind Richard & I.  He was praising the Lord big-time, and singing with gusto and clapping, and happy as a lark.  After services, Richard & I introduced ourselves to him… his name was Theodore, he said.  He told us that he and his fiancé were planning to be married soon, and that he was in between jobs and very broke, but that they were living in a nearby hotel until they could afford to rent or buy a home.  But he said he was happy as could be anyway. Everyone would bring a covered dish each service, and we’d all meet afterward to eat and converse.  Well, this particular day that we met him, Richard & I sent him home with all our leftovers (Richard had made a large pan of chicken enchiladas), and the preacher’s wife told him to make a large plate of food for him and his GF.  The next Sunday, he was there again, same as before, singing and praising and happy as a lark.  After dinner, we did the same, and Richard wrote out a check for as much money as we could (and then some), and handed it to Theodore in private, telling him it was a love offering from us.  Theodore told us he loved us too, and that he prayed Father Yahweh’s special blessings on us.  We never saw him again, though I didn’t get the feeling of him having just “used” us.  He had never asked anyone for money, food, or anything, but rather just gratefully and thankfully accepted what we offered him.

I’m with you, brother.  I am a “people” person anyway, and sit right on the other side of double glass door right by the elevator.  So I see a lot of people throughout my day, and have met many wonderful people that way.  I always find a way to share God’s love with them, tell them about His-Forever, talk to them about the Lord, ask if they are Christian, etc.  One can witness anywhere, any time, just by the way they conduct their lives.  Shine for Him, Doves!
