He Lost His Son, Too

We’re so very sorry for your loss,

it hurts us so for you!

But, the Lord God knows just how you feel,

for He lost His Son, too.

 

And I know it hurt Him more than us,

for He’s more than just a man!

But He’ll hold you and He’ll give you peace,

He’s the only One Who can!

 

And I know there’s nothing we can say

to take your pain away;

but know our prayers are always here,

today and EVERY day!!!

 

Your son lives in a mansion now,

and he’s forever with the Lord;

because he lived his life for Christ,

and eternal life’s his reward!
