"Abbas won't recognize Israel"

RAMALLAH, West Bank (AFP) - Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas on Thursday refused to be drawn on a demand by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that Palestinians recognise the Jewish nature of Israel.
