I don't think Psalm 27 is talking about the Pre-Trib Rapture. It refers to the Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Tribulation saints.
 
Psalm 27:5 says, "For IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE HE SHALL HIDE ME IN HIS PAVILION: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."

The secret of his Tabernacle is the location of the rock called Heaven. Paul was caught up to the "third heaven." II Cor. 12:2-4 says, "I knew a man (Paul himself) in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one CAUGHT UP TO THE THIRD HEAVEN. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was CAUGHT UP INTO PARADISE, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."

The third heaven out from Earth is Saturn. Mars is the 1st, Jupiter the 2nd, and Saturn the 3rd.

The Tabernacle depicted this. There were three cube-shaped spaces inside the tent. I think the cubes represented three spheres in which the length, breadth and height were equal, as they are in cubes or spheres. Think of a sphere in a box where the dimensions of both are the same. I think the Holy Place represented Mars and Jupiter, and the Holy of Holies represented Saturn. The square altar of earth outside represented Earth. Ex. 20:24 says, "An altar of EARTH thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. "

The Rapture Psa. 27 refers to is the second Rapture, the "last trump" of I Cor. 15:51-54, the Pre-Wrath Rapture. It happens on the Day of God's Wrath. I would prefer to go at the first trump, the Pre-Trib Rapture. It was prefigured by the peaceful ascension of Enoch. I Thess. 4:16,17 tells us about the Pre-Trib Rapture.

Of the Pre-Wrath Rapture, Dan. 12:1 says, "And at that time (when the False Prophet comes to his end, Dan. 11:45) shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people (Israelites): and there shall be A TIME OF TROUBLE, SUCH AS NEVER WAS SINCE THERE WAS A NATION EVEN TO THAT SAME TIME: and at that time thy people (i.e., the 144,000 of Rev. 7 and 14:4,5) shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

This day is a day like no other. It is the time of Jacob's trouble, the Day of God's Wrath, the Day of the Lord. Jer. 30:7 says, "Alas! for that day is great, so that NONE IS LIKE IT: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."

Rev 6:12-17 says, "I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?" No one.

The worldwide earthquake will destroy every city; every wall will fall (Eze. 38:20). Rev 16:18-21 says, "there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city (Jerusalem) was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great."

In the last verse of Rev. 6, the Day of God's Wrath has come. The Pre-Wrath Rapture takes place in Rev. 7. The 7 trumpets are given to the angels in Rev. 8. The last trump of God precedes the 7 judgment trumpets sounded by angels, but I think of the Tribulation saints escaping so as by fire.

Remember how Elijah was caught up by a chariot of fire, and you can see what I mean. 2 Ki 2:11 says, "as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a CHARIOT OF FIRE, AND HORSES OF FIRE, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

Rev. 12 shows that Satan and his army are cast out of Heaven Mid-Trib. At that time, the Israelites that know their Bible will flee to Petra to be taken care of there for the last half of the Tribulation.
