"To Deborah and Marie on voting"

I too will not vote for a candidate who does not have basic Christian
values, hoping that will somehow counteract a "worse" event, the
election of a New World Order president.

I will vote for Ron Paul, as Deborah will, but I also would consider
some others whom I think are Christians.  As far as I know, Mike
Huckabee is a devout Christian.  His defense of Creation was inspiring,
on that debate which emphasized the candidates' faiths last spring.
Pastor Steve Baldwin has criticized Mike Huckabee, and this is the one
area where I do not entirely agree with Pastor Baldwin.

Are there any other candidates who are genuine Christians?  Probably!
Duncan Hunter was wonderful on his hour-long interview with Glen Beck
last week.

Surprise to some here: some Democrats have faith!  On the debate about
faith last spring, John Edwards was outspoken that Jesus was "my Lord."
This was not a roundabout theology discussion from Edwards, but a
direct, heartfelt statement.  Whatever else you may think of him, I
believe he is a sincere Christian, as is  his wife, if that counts.
His wife Elizabeth has said that if she dies of her cancer, one
advantage will be that she will then be with their son Wade.  That's
about as direct as one can get in a matter of faith.

This probably is not the complete list of those who are sincere
Christians who are running for President of the United States, but I
just wanted to throw out some known ones.
