There is the old arguement, are the 5 unwise virgins Christian? There are teachings that once you say a little prayer that is it, everything is OK. The arguement goes round and round. However there is that awesome and terrible time when Christ will come. Some will leave with him. Some will expect to go also but he will say I never knew you. In the Old Testement when a man knew a woman it was sexual but probably much more. Like that of a marraige there is not much else to hide, the good and the bad is seen. So Christ is our husband in a more perfect way. He too wants to know us. Can we hide from him? Not realy. But we can ignore Him and refuse to yield to him. We can refuse to let Him on the inside. He wants everything, our heart, our hopes, our thoughts, our fantasies. The things we do not want to give up we pretend he ignores. Not so. When we refuse to yield to him and choose to ignore his promptings for us to yield to His way there is a time he will say, depart from me I never knew you. That dead line is soon approaching. Will we be there or will we be careless and find the door shut. We must yield to him everything, these are the wise virgins.
