"biblical saints who saw heaven"

Some of you could do a much better job of this than me, but I feel I have to address this issue perpetuated by the present person who calls himself the bible answer man. "No man has seen heaven." This is implied by the scripture in which Paul states that he has seen the 3rd heaven but he is not authorized to speak of the things he saw. Therefore it is assumed that no one is allowed to speak of heaven if they happen to be lucky enough to see it.

Well then I would have to ask, what city were these old testament people looking for in Hebrews ch 11?. Do you suppose they may have seen a glimpse of this city, the New Jerusalem?. I think so. What is this wonderful sight that David saw in the tabernacle that so enraptured him?. Certainly wasn't golden candlesticks and the other items he saw, sounds like something much more magnificent. . What was this strange thing that Ezekiel saw? What did Jonathan see before he was martyred, was it not heaven opening up? Did not Isaiah see Christ on the throne? Did not Moses see the items in heaven that he was suppose to copy for the tabernacle? Did he not see the presence of God and the glory of God radiated from his face? [Reminds me of the look on the face of a new born Christian.] Did Jacob not see a stairway to heaven? And what about John the revelator? Do you suppose he should not of written those things that he saw in heaven? This is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak.

Perhaps what is going on is jealousy. I haven't seen it therefore no one has seen it. Remember Doubting Thomas? Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe. But God is so gracious. He lets us weaker ones who need more see.
