The second one were he figures out it is an angel while he has that experience is very interesting. Most people don't figure it out until after it has happened and many times don't figure it out at all. This reminds me of the angelic visitation Daniel had. The angel called Daniel God's beloved. Daniel prayed 3 times a day even when he was warned not too. I am sure the prayer was not a space out or wasted prayer also, like many of us fall into. So I suspect Vincent has the same sort of prayer life.
 
Also what was very intereting is that Vincent is a trained scientist, he pays close attention to detail. So vincent was able to figure out what was happening as it happened which was also an answer to prayer after his first angelic encounter. The part were the angel knew what he was thinking and answered him before he asked is also a confirmation to me of an angelic encounter. Language is at a totaly higher level in heaven, and Vincent experienced that. These visitations are an encouragement to us. If we seek God the same way with a pure heart we too shall be more likely to see these things.
