Cant find the recent post re a visitation of an angel to Vincent Tan.
I do recall the part about the lights and it made me think. There were those that had their light lit. THey were reading their bible. And there were those christians who did not have a light lit, who did not read their bible. This sounds much like the 5 wise and unwise virgins, 5 were ready 5 were not.
 
I remember as a young christian that after I read the bible many times that I figured I had read enough. I needed to just go do it instead of hiding behind just reading it. Funny how the devil tricks us with what seems to be logical. I paid the price for that one. I have an aquantance who says that he has already read the bible and already knows what it says so he doesn't need to read it anymore. Now he is all caught up in these political deceptions, all his time is spent chasing these distractions as if they are the most important thing in life.
 
I have found that even if you just read a daily devotion or a thru the bible in a year bible God will speak to you in the most amazing and pertenant ways. His word is truely alive and living and hits you today were you are.
