I suspect Clay feels that something is immenent because of these postings. The funeral for Reagan was quite spectacular and I wondered if it was overdone at the time. But the way it unfolded was certainly unusual and it did seem if something very significant was happening. The fly over of the jets with the sunset over the ocean at the culmination of the funeral seemed sureal. Perhaps that was the sign of an end of an era. It seems to be all downhill from there.
