Just something which I've observed in relation to Choo Thomas --
Those who stand against her book, do so because it contains many incidents which are drastically opposed to the Word of the Living God.
Those who support her book, do so because it seems right to them, and cite that it doesn't need to line up with the Word of God, since (according to those people), not everything is in the Word of God. In saying this, they disqualify the Word of God from being the defining light of truth and judgment in all things.
"There is a way which seems right to a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death."
- Proverbs 14: 12
This should tell you very clearly where the second group is coming from.
