"Chu Thomas's version of heaven"

Someone wrote that a few minor technicalities in Chu's book were not a "problem" for him.   This isn't directed at any one person here to embarrass them; many people have said the same thing.

I have a few "problems" with Chu Thomas's version of heaven and Jesus. The entity that appeared to Chu several times and took her on journeys with him, never identified himself as Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He appeared to her and said "I am your lord."  Satan, by the way, is known as the lord of the flies.

I had a "problem" when she described all the physical pain and torment this creature inflicted upon her. Jesus doesn't physically hurt us. She said he had flames shooting out of his eyes that hurt her eyes. Nowhere in scripture is this documented.  Nowhere in scripture is it written that a person will roll around in bed and shake the bed and become very hot for an hour before Jesus will appear to them in their darkened bedroom at night.

I have a "problem" when Chu talks about a grey half-way place in Heaven.  She also talks about going through a very dark valley. In heaven there is NO darkness. And Hell is certainly not located in Heaven. There is nothing in scripture to support this.

Chu wrote that this "lord" promised her fame and riches (fame for publishing her book, her photo on the book jacket, and a beautiful new home) for doing what he told her.  Doesn't this sound familiar?  Satan promised Jesus all the kingdoms of this world if He would renounce God and submit to him.

Probably the most incredible statement Chu wrote is the time she and "her lord" were sitting on the "sandy beach" and he showed her the water that was "dirty". He said it was his BLOOD, and it was now DIRTY because it had cleansed sins out of people. Therefore, the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD, IS NOW DIRTY, according to Chu's "lord".  This is completely unscriptural and blasphemous.  How can the supposedly dirty blood of Jesus cleanse anyone now?  When did it get dirty?  When He forgave the first sinner?  That would be the thief on the cross.  The whole idea is ludicrous!

I had a "problem" when I read that her "lord" was walking with her with his arm around her shoulder and called her "sweetheart".  That is not the Jesus I know, and it has sexual overtones in it.

These are more than mere "minor technicalities". These are serious blasphemies against our Lord. This book wasn't written BY or ABOUT Jesus.  If there is even ONE flaw in this book, the whole book is invalidated.

Chu says that she now has an anointing upon her, and when she prays over people in church, her hands fly around very fast and hit the people she's praying over, slapping them. There's something strange about that "anointing".  She wrote that the pastor of her church has had to tell her to sit down because she kept "dancing in the spirit" and interrupting the service.  This sounds like an evil spirit to me.  The Holy Spirit does not interrupt Himself, and He doesn't slap people around, either.

There is much more in her book which I could list, but I tore it up and burned it in my barbecue pit.
