I think you are right about Nita Johnson's letter and her reasoning.  I do not feel good about Annapolis.  I don't feel too good about President Bush or Condi Rice right now.
 
Why are our Christian leaders silent?  Where is the outrage?  Do they also believe that the Church has replaced the Chosen People?  That the Jews are no longer relevent to God?
 
I feel sad for the world at this time and for the people who have no idea what is about to happen.  I don't pretend to be a prophet but God has given me the gift of discernment and my discerning spirit says this is just plain wrong.  It is not fair.  How can the Israelis even consider the USA as their "best friend" and "closest ally"?  We are offering them up as a sacrifice on the altar the Arabs have built for them.
 
Isaac is again being sacrificed but not by his father Abraham.  His brother's offspring, the children of Ishmael, and his son's offspring, the children of Esau, will have their revenge upon him.
 
I know the rest of the story and yet I still feel very sad and I want to weep over Israel, over their weak government, and over our nation.  God's judgment will not be long in coming.  The end is near and so many are not ready and are not interested in hearing what we have to say.  The Watchmen sound the warning but the populace sleeps on.
