 After defeating the priests of Baal, Elijiah was threatened by Jezebel and ran and hid.  He was so upset by her threats that he asked God to just let him die.  Even though he personally saw 400 people destroyed by the Lord, that one threat by Jezebel sent him running. The word of God tells us that there is a Jezebel spirit alive in the world today.  That spirit has and is a destructive, manipulative spirit intended to take down the prophets of the Lord.  That same spirit killed John the Baptist during Jesus's ministry.  Why?  To silence the voice of God.  In these last days, the devil is throwing out last-ditch efforts to cause doubt and unbelief in the body of Christ.  These ministers in the news are modern-day prophets of the Lord and the spirit of Jezebel is working hard to resist them.
 
Every word we speak and write has the power of life and death.  These posts can be read all over the world and our words have impact.  We can speak life, and life will prosper.  We can speak accusation, doubt and suspicion, and death follows.  (Deut. 28).   The bible tells us to build each other up in our most holy faith.  The media is not the "light of the world"...Jesus is the light of the world and He shines in the dark places.  I can tell you with absolute certainty that the situation regarding the ministries identified in these investigations is AN ATTACK ON THE BODY OF CHRIST BY THE ENEMY.   If we believe the news, if we fall victim to the doubt and unbeleif, then we are not abiding in Christ.  How can His body be divided?  We must come together and unite againt these verbal attacks,  reserving judgment through prayer until the investigations are complete.
 
Please go to the KCM (Kenneth Copeland Ministry) ministry website and view for yourself their staff meeting where they openly discuss the investigation and how the ministry operates.  I think your eyes will be open to the truth.  Remember that the secular news media IS NOT THE AUTHORITY ON THE WORD OF GOD.  This attack has wide ranging implications for all churches in America.  One dove post stated that the ministries "needed to cooperate with the investigation".. To my knowledge they all are cooperating as far as they are legally able to according to IRS standards.  THEY DO NOT HAVE TO NOR SHOULD THEY COOPERATE WITH A SENATE INVESTIGATION.  THAT IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE AND WILL HAVE LONG-RANGE IMPLICATIONS OF GOVERNMENT CONTROL OVER NON-PROFIT RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS.  Please, Christians, use wisdom with regard to joining the war-cry against these ministries.  Reserve judgement and pray in your most Holy faith.  Jesus is soon to return and His word is clear about attacking the prophets of God.
