Comet Holmes at 40
In the night between October 23 and 24, comet P/17 Holmes, a small little comet of magnitude 17, suddenly became extremely bright, multiplying its brightness by a factor of 1 million!Comet Holmes brightened by a million-fold at the end of October 23, 2007. Previously it was thought that it was the 24th, but only counting the 23rd is most interesting. Therefore it can be determined that this was:40 days after the Feast of Trumpets 2007 (Counting 9/14 to 10/23),40 weeks after Comet McNaught (280 days--counting 1/17 to 10/23),and Comet McNaught came 120 lunar months after Hale-Bopp (3,543 days--counting 5/6/97 to 1/17/07).Also it has been noted that Hale-Bopp crossed the equatorial plane on 5/6/97 and McNaught did so on 1/14/07, making the total 3,540 days. This is 120 lunar months of 29.5 days. The accurate lunar month (29.5306 days) adds 3 more days coming to 1/17/07 and providing the necessary adjustment to make the outburst of Comet Holmes on October 23/24 at 40 weeks from Comet McNaught and 40 days from Rosh Hashanah.Comet Holmes is also in the constellation Perseus (and can still be seen) where Comets Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp crossed at right angles exactly one year apart on April 11th. This was written about in Signs of the End. April 11th coincided with the Passover of the Crucifixion in 32 AD and also the Passovers for 1914, 1933, 1998, and 2017. Hyakutake crossed the star of Algol on April 11, 1996 and Hale-Bopp crossed on April 11, 1997.Keep Looking Up!Daniel Matson
